Infrastructure Trade Mission to Egypt

The UK Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Egypt, the Rt Hon Sir Jeffrey Donaldson MP, will pay his fifth visit to Egypt since his appointment in November 2015. His visit will take place the week of 23 September 2017.

On behalf of the Department for International Trade (DIT) in Egypt, it is our pleasure to invite you to join Sir Jeffrey on a trade delegation to Egypt from 23 - 27 September 2017. The focus of the delegation will be infrastructure.

Sir Jeffrey is a powerful advocate for UK firms, promoting Egypt UK’s excellence at a senior level. The visit will be an opportunity to attend private meetings with high level officials:

  • HE Prime Minister Sherif Ismail
  • HE Dr Sahar Nasr, Minister of Investment & International Co-operation
  • HE Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Housing
  • HE Hisham Arafat, Minister of Transport

Attending delegates will also meet with the Egyptian Armament Authority and the Military Engineering Department, as well as visit the New Administrative Capital project.  

Who can attend?

This trade mission is designed for large UK infrastructure/construction companies with a particular expertise in transport (rail, metro, port), airport, water, environment, and construction that wish to enter or expand into the Egyptian market.
