Conference: Brexit & UK-China Strategic Partnership in Africa

You are cordially invited to attend a conference entitled: Brexit & UK-China Strategic Partnership in Africa to be held on Tuesday 13 February 2018 at the Semiramis  Intercontinental Hotel , Cairo from 9:00am to 3:00pm. The conference is organised by the Egyptian-British Chamber of Commerce (EBCC), in partnership with the UK Department for International Trade (DIT), the British-Egyptian Business Association (BEBA) and Egyptian British Business Council (EBBC).

The conference will cover Egypt’s future trade and investment relationship with the UK in the wake of the UK's vote to withdraw from the European Union. The panellists will address the future of UK trade & trade policy, and economic implications of the various Brexit scenarios. As well the UK-China Strategic Partnership; the alliance supports collaboration between UK & Chinese businesses to deliver competitive investment offerings in Egypt 

The conference aims to strengthen government to government exchanges and research on trade and trade policy, as well as on financing and investment policy. It also aims to actively engage and highlight opportunities for Egypt’s business community in this process.

Following the conference, there is an opportunity for B2B meetings with the British delegation visiting Egypt on Transport & Healthcare
