The Egyptian-British Chamber of Commerce, Department for International Trade (DIT) and Egyptian British Business Council have the pleasure to invite you to join us at a Breakfast Briefing with Egypt's Minister of Investment & International Cooperation, HE Dr.  Sahar Nasr. 

Registration starts at 0845am for a 9am start on Friday 12 July, in the Sovereign's Room (former ballroom) of the RAF Club at 128 Piccadilly, London W1J 7PY

Dr. Nasr will speak about major investment projects in Egypt with an emphasis on projects in  educationhealthcare, and transportation. Egypt's Ministry of Investment released its interactive investment map  in 2018, and it is actively encouraging UK private sector participation in major pipeline projects. This is supported by recent legislative and regulatory reforms implemented by the Egyptian Government, including the issuance of the new Investment Law and its Executive Regulations. 

About the Speaker

HE Dr Sahar Nasr was sworn in  in 2015 as the Egyptian Minister of  International Cooperation.  On February 16, 2017 she was appointed as Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, then reappointed on June 14, 2018. Dr. Nasr earned her Professorship from the Supreme Council of Universities. She is a Professor of Economics at the American University in Cairo and a Lecturer at several Egyptian and foreign universities. Dr. Nasr serves as Governor of Egypt to several institutions such as The World Bank, The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa, and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. Dr. Nasr has been a member of the Economic Development Council of the Presidential Office through which she provided economic consultations to the President. 

The event will start at 9am and finish at 11am.  Coffee, tea and pastries will be served from 08.45am.
